SLaM have now launched a 24-hr Crisis line for patients using mental health services, their carers and family.  The number is only available if you live in the following London Boroughs

Lewisham
Lambeth
Southwark
Croydon

The 24-hour mental health support line on 0800 731 2864.

SLaM Recovery College 2016

The South London and Maudsley has set out new courses for January 2016.   These courses are free to attend if you are using SLaM’s services or are a carer of the person using mental health services in South London.

Blooming Monday

Blooming Monday is a mental health awareness campaign supported by Mental Health Research UK.  Apparently monday the 18th, which is the 3rd week in Janaury is meant to be the most depressing day of the year.  There may be a few events going on around London and beyond.
